Who is China’s biggest enemy in the world today? You probably think it is obviously the United States. At least that’s what the Chinese Communist Party keeps telling 1.4 billion Chinese citizens. Turn on Chinese state media. And there it is. Hostile foreign forces. Always at the top of the list, America. The CCP loves stoking the flames. They stir up anti-American hatred like it’s a national pastime. And the army of the infamous online little pinks. They phone at the mouse screaming American imperialists like it’s 1950 all over again. But here’s the hard truth. No one inside China is allowed to say, but I’ll say it.
America is not China’s enemy. America has been one of China’s greatest friends. Today, I’m going to show you seven undeniable reasons why this is the case. And along the way, I’ll share a few personal stories that prove this beyond doubt. So grab your coffee and this one is going to change the way you think about the US and China relationship. Let’s dive in. First reason, America has never taken one inch of Chinese land. Since 1840, China has been invaded and humiliated by many powers. Russia took West territories. The Soviet Union even more. America zero.
Not one inch, not one outpost, not one stolen province. Now think about that. When I was a kid growing up in China studying Chinese history, my history teachers taught us about the century of humiliation. But what they didn’t tell us, America wasn’t the one humiliating us. In fact, while Russia was grabbing land when China was weak, when Russia was doing that, America was building schools and hospitals. Yet today, the CCP cozies up to Russia and demonizes America. How does that make any sense? Second reason, America is China’s biggest customer. That’s cold cold hard truth. In 2024, China exported 524 billion dollar worth of goods to America.
That’s a massive 361 billion trade surplus. Without American consumers buying Chinese products, entire factories would shut down overnight. I’ve met factory owners in Dong Wang Guangdong who whisper this openly. If the US stopped buying, we would be finished. And yet the same government that relies on American dollars calls the US enemy number one. Bite the hand that feeds you. Brilliant strategy. Xiinping. Reason number three, Chinese American scientists transformed China science. Here’s something I didn’t appreciate until I moved to the US.
How much Chinese American scientists have given back to China. Seven Nobel Prize winners of Chinese descent, all working in America, helped drive China’s scientific progress. Take Lieba, who passed away last year. He didn’t just win the Nobel Prize. He built bridges, helped develop China’s particle physics programs, sent over 900 top Chinese students to the US universities, created scientific exchange programs that transformed Chinese science. I’ve personally met quite a few successful entrepreneurs in China who studied in the US. They all told me how their tying America opened their eyes and their minds. Without American cooperation, China’s scientific rights would have been impossible.
Yet, the CCP dares to call this a hostile relationship. Hostile? No, it was generosity that American generosity that built China’s modern tech base. Reason number four, Chinese Americans hold high offices, proving that the American dream works. Look at America’s political system. Chinese Americans aren’t just surviving, they’re thriving. Senators, Congress members, uh, governors, mayors. I still remember watching Elaine Chow being swung in as the labor secretary. As a Chinese immigrant, that moment hit me hard. No one forced her to tell the party line. No one censored her speech. In America, Chinese people can rise on their own merits.
Compare that to China. Try running for office without CCP’s approval. See what happens. In America, we see real Chinese faces in real power by choice. That’s freedom. and it terrifies the CCP. Reason number five, Chinatowns are thriving symbols of Chinese culture in America. Have you been to San Francisco’s Chinatown or Chicago’s, New York’s or even Houston’s uh booming new Chinatown? I have many times eating Chinese food there. You’ll find Chinese families building businesses, celebrating culture, and thriving. Not under the CCP’s flag, but under the stars and stripes.
These communities on ghettos, they’re thriving, plowed enclaves. No secret police, no censorship, no royalty tests. When I visit these Chinatowns, I feel something I never felt growing up in China. Genuine pride and a freedom. And that’s why millions of Chinese choose to stay in America. They know deep down this is where the Chinese culture can breathe freely without censorship, without control. Reason number six, millions of Chinese have chosen US citizenship, including CCP elites. Let me tell you a little secret. CCP elites say one thing in public, but woe is their feet.
Today, 5.3 million Chinese Americans live in the US. Every year, tens of thousands more take the American citizenship. And guess who is leading the charge? The children of high ranking Communist Party officials. For example, General Sun Chong’s family, three daughters or US citizens, son, green card holder, milliondoll home in Irvine, California. Why would the CCP elite move their kids to the enemy? Because they know it’s not the enemy. It’s the escape hatch. It’s the place where you have freedom and the rule of law. When Xiinping shouts about American imperialism, thousands of party families are sending money, kids, and assets to America.
Their hypocrisy speaks louder than any CCP propaganda. Reason number seven, America has helped China more than any other nation. Now, here’s the kicker. If you open your your history books, really open them and you’ll see this. No country has helped modern China more than America. Build Chinua University, the best university in China. Send tens of thousands of Chinese students abroad. Build China’s best hospital and medical school. during the World War II sent the Flying Tigers to fight side by side with Chinese forces, helped China secure its UN Security Council seat. In 1969, warned China of a coming Soviet nuclear strike, saving millions of lives. since the reform opening provided technology, capital, and markets that fueled China’s rights.
Without America, there’s no modern Chinese economic miracle. And yet, the CCP erases this history. Why? Because it would shatter their narrative of external struggle against the capitalist West. But facts are stubborn. You know, America has been a friend, not an enemy of China. And no amount of propaganda can change that. So, you wonder why does the CCP keep calling America enemy number one? It’s simple ideology. The CCP still worships KL Marx, who dreamed of destroying capitalism. Today, 170 years later, America remains the world’s strongest capitalist nation, and that drives the CCP mad.
They can’t tolerate the fact that freedom and capitalism outperformed dictatorship and communism. So, they cling to a losing narrative, defeat America, replace it, control the world. But here’s the reality. This is a dead end road. a road that leads not to Wicry but to China’s own collapse. And millions of smart Chinese people know it. That’s why they are moving with their feet to America because deep down they know the truth that the CCP won’t say. America is not the enemy of China. It is the friend China needs. And if the CCP can’t accept that, they will take China down with them.
